ORE Offshore has been a leading manufacturer of high
accuracy acoustic positioning systems for use within
the offshore, military and institutional markets. These
systems are used to track underwater vehicles including,
Remote Operated Vehicles ROV, Autonomous Underwater
Vehicles, and Towed Instrumentation packages. The heart
of these products is the Track Point Ultra Short Base
Line (USBL) deck unit.

supplying acoustic releases and transponders to the
world’s major research institutions and government
oceanographic offices for many years. Many of these
units are over 20 years old and are still used regularly.
The Communication and Control products are used to locate,
communicate and activate or control devices underwater.
These systems include Acoustic Releases, Acoustic Transponders,
Acoustic Long Baseline Positioning Systems, and Acoustic
