AMD200 Acoustic Command Transmitter |
The AMD200 Deck Unit is a lightweight, durable,
easy-to-use deck unit. The AMD200 Deck Unit is capable of
transmitting all ORE Offshore, and EdgeTech commands. All
of our acoustic products use BACS (Binary Acoustic Coding
System) for communications and commands. The BACS command
structure has proven itself to be reliable, even in the worst
environments. The small, lightweight package with self-contained
batteries is easy to transport. With the optional receive
capability (AMDR200) this system will perform ranging functions
and receive status replies from underwater units. This unit
also addresses the need for a reasonably priced back-up system
on board ships.

The system is rated to 100 meters depth and operating
range of up to 5 kilometers depending on conditions.
Cost effective means of actuating a submerged device

The SWR is rated to 200 meters depth, 100 pound release
loads, and operating range of over 5 kilometers depending
on conditions. The SWR is a very cost effective means
of releasing a submerged mooring or bottom frame. With

pounds.

| Coastal Acoustic Release Transponder
(CART) |
The CART operates for 1.5 years on Alkaline
batteries, with a maximum load of 500 kg., and a maximum
depth of 1000 Meters. This system also includes status
reply which indicates a tilted angle or an upright condition.
Longer deployments are possible with Lithium batteries.

| Emergency Release and Recovery
System |
This system includes a 17 inch glass sphere for the
electronics housing, a remote transducer, and a remote
mechanical release capable of handling 5500 kilogram
loads. These systems are ideal for mounting on underwater
vehicles, Bottom Frames and Tripods. In the event an
umbilical to an ROV parts or an autonomous vehicle fails
the system can be activated acoustically, dropping a
weight and/or releasing the cable connection to allow
the vehicle to return to the surface. This system also
includes a transponder for relocating and tracking the
vehicle during operations or recovery.

| Model 8011M Acoustic Transceiver |
This deck unit is capable of commanding
and ranging on all ORE, EdgeTech, and EG&G underwater
systems. It will also command and range on other major
manufacturers' underwater systems. The 8011M auto switches
to any supply line voltage between 110 and 240 VAC.
This deck unit includes a self charging internal battery
pack for use when power is not available. With its DSP
technology the 8011M can range on multiple underwater
units simultaneously.
